Antihypertensive Medications

Description Many patients diagnosed with hypertension are prescribed multiple antihypertensive medications. Ace inhibitors, beta-blockers, and calcium channel blockers are often prescribed at the same time to a patient with hypertension. What would be some of your concerns about this particular group of medications if your patient is prescribed all of the following: Corgard 80mg PO QD, Accupril 20mg PO QD, and Inderal 40mg PO BID? How should the registered nurse respond to these concerns?
